Born and raised in Amsterdam, Godsendo grew up in his family's rich Nigerian culture. His father's diverse musical tastes deeply influenced him, fostering a lifelong love for music. This cultural and musical upbringing inspired Godsendo to carve his own musical path, blending the nostalgic sounds of his Nigerian heritage with modern rhythms, resulting in an innovative and captivating listening experience.

As a DJ, I'm constantly on the lookout for the newest sounds and artists in Afro music. If a song drops and I like it, you can be sure I'll be spinning it at my next set. While it's great when the crowd recognizes all the tracks, I believe it's even more exciting to introduce them to new music.Watching people Shazam tracks during my set is a thrill, as it means I'm helping them discover new favorites.

I especially enjoy DJ'ing with stems, as it allows me to add dynamic layers and unique blends to each performance, making them truly one-of-a-kind. You'll definitely notice this technique in my sets.
